Molly grew up in Pennsylvania and began to work professionally when she was a teenager in Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. Her first professional production included The Snow Queen. She was then nominated as an Barrymore Award nominee for her role of Little Red Ridinghood at the Arden Theater's production Into the Woods. Molly reprised the role in the production when she performed her Broadway debut in Into the Woods at Broadway in 2002. The show won her a Drama League Award for this performance. Molly also performed on The Broadway version of Fiddler on the Roof in 2004. Following her graduation at Princeton University, where she received an B.A. in Religion. She also became a Triangle Club member, Molly went on to attend Princeton University. in Religion. During that time she appeared in a film for the first time, Disney The College Road Trip as Wendy Greenhut. Molly has performed several Off-Broadway productions including End Days, at Ensemble Studio Theater. She also was a part of television series like Royal Pains or an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly was a part of regional productions such as The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in Barrington Stage Company's and North Shore Music Theatre's production of 2008 and the Westport Country Playhouse 2010 production of The Diary of Anne Frank, in which she played Anne. Molly is most well-known for playing Ali who is a teen daughter in Paranormal Activity 2, a film from 2010, in which Jack Burditt directed and wrote the ABC comedy Last Man Standing starring Tim Allen.
